Jira is very customizable in how it's used.
It's sort of like saying that a wall with sticky notes is a bad development tool because of some anecdotal experience. It all depends on what you do with it.
Maybe it's more like saying that a spreadsheet is a bad tool. The only thing I resent jira/confluence etc for is dropping its markdown because it was too hard for the company to maintain :) But they're working on it again.
Confluence is probably one of my favorite tools but I haven't used jira in ages as it's possible to get by with github these days. |
