This positions literally made me guffaw. '"Voting with your wallet" isn't voting for change; it's giving up.' I love the subtext I'm reading that boycotting companies that are doing bad things is for dirty quitters who lack grit. This brings to mind a Musashi quote, from the book of five rings. “You should not have any special fondness for a particular weapon, or anything else, for that matter. Too much is the same as not enough. Without imitating anyone else, you should have as much weaponry as suits you.” |
