I honestly would have been fine with a $2500 Mac Pro before I switched my performance computing over to Windows. I'm not looking for a cheap machine, I'm just looking for good value performance and expandability for what I'm paying. |

The cheapest mac pro you can get with modern hardware is $6000. My hackintosh is $1500 because I do like a fast machine that I can play games on every now and then.
