Modern pot metal alloys are nearly all lead free, partly due to the EU's RoHS regulations and partly because lead is a lot more expensive than zinc. It's also worth pointing out that metallic lead isn't all that toxic - it's lead compounds that you need to worry about, especially organic compounds. |
