As proven by the emulation scene, access to the source code isn't a requirement to preserve games. Edit: Could someone downvoting explain what is wrong with my comment? We would all love to have source code of everything because that's what we like to dig into and hack on, it's also a fact that it isn't required if the goal is preservation. |
