I don't understand the graphic on the left in the first example. Are they wearing a different type of mask that makes the infection rate higher?

The rabbit on the left in the first example is a carrier who is showing symptoms. They are red due to fever and coughing into a tissue. (Example 2’s left is an a- or pre-symptomatic carrier.)
