That's true, but, if you look at how university budgets have changed over the past few decades, it's clear that they aren't supposed to be. They've been aggressively holding educational costs down (see: adjunct professor), while the costs for non-educational services such as career counseling and "student support" (not entirely sure what that entails; my alma mater didn't have it as far as I'm aware) have mushroomed. |
