I'd be guessing that very early in the quest towards herd immunity the medical institutions would be overrun and the end result of that would be a whole lot more dead people than the lockdown scenario. From what it appears we know about the virus so far, a vaccine is the only sane way to possibly hope to reach herd immunity. |
