The alternative is setting it up by hand which is error prone. When you're starting out, that might be OK but it'll grow and the difference between your staging and production accounts will drift. Also, then let's say you get a mega-enterprise customer that wants to host it in their own cloud account, you simply apply the same configuration to that new account. It's quite something to see thousands of cloud resources created over the space of an hour, thinking how long it'd take to do it by hand. |
