Historically, wasn't there a period where the US was considerably more friendly with Pakistan than India? I think it was when India was more Soviet-sympathizing. I remember reading about an incident when the US sold a lot of fighter jets to Pakistan, and decided after collecting payment not to deliver. Probably that was about when the relationship went sour? |
