Yeah, personally it seems dollar stores seem to often appear as "gap fillers" to prevent strip malls from dying like bleaching corral after the anchor store closes. The only other "empty blight stopgap" I have seen are storage places which essentially mean the place gave up on retail traffic anyway. |
