Another factor to consider is that many people move to a big city for work and higher earnings. There will probably be some shift back, but I think after all this remote work will be a more permanent option for a lot of roles. If you're able to get the same higher salary, but remotely somewhere with a more affordable cost of living, and aren't in that area specifically for in-person amenities, why wouldn't you? |
