We homeschool our 5 kids but sometimes I think we shouldnt. Something I tell my wife, kids, parents, well wishers, hecklers and friends is that parents get both too much and too little credit for how their kids turn out. Stay involved. That's what homeschooling (done well) forces you to do. Ask questions, allow failures, try (you WILL fail) to practice detachment, and understand that you do not. |
