Actually, Skype was designed from the start to use e2e p2p communication. First thing after the Microsoft acquisition was to remove e2e and introduce dozens of new features no-one actually asked for. In addition, they turned the UI into a dumpster fire and allowed Chinese, Russian and United States law enforcement agencies to eavesdrop on any Skype conversation without intervention of a judge. |
