> would go back home if they could Where'd you get this impression? Many on H1B want to become permanent residents, but can't due to immigration policy. That's why the green card backlog is so long. Also, what do you mean by "if they could"? Do you think want to go home, but their employer is stopping them from leaving? I'd think if they're in the US right now, the logical conclusion is that they want to be here (otherwise they would have left), but maybe non-Americans aren't smart enough to understand what's really happening... |
