Even more impressive than the linpack result (2.8x faster than the runner up) is the HPCG result at 4.6x the result of summit in second place. That benchmark consists of more sparse matrixes which are a lot more realistic depiction of hpc workloads.
Seems to scale a lot better with irregular access patterns than basically Nvidia GPUs on the other systems. |
