I have removed DRM from all of my Kindle book purchases over the years (over 100) to read as PDFs on my Remarkable without issue. The Calibre toolchain- bless the work of the author- is a little painful to use but works consistently and though it's a GUI, the CLI works as well and can be automated. It is definitely possible to make de-DRM harder, but lots of things are possible and thankfully don't happen. |
