Not sure why this is getting downvoted. It strikes me as the highest form of chauvinism to assume your own society has discovered the One True Ethics. Still, I think some conception of Western Human Rights should be universalized (like slavery is always bad, for example) but a lot of thought should go into what values are important enough to always impose on others. |
