The one where the company behind has a good reputation and seems trustworthy. Like Mullvad where their real address, developers, history and open source projects are available on the website (https://mullvad.net/en/help/no-logging-data-policy/) and they have been around for a while without any scandals that I'm aware of. If there's a new provider out with no name, company address, audits or history and tells me they are not sharing personal information I just have to take their word for it. So it's not much better than the alternative if I can't verify it. |
