I don't think this is a correct analogy, as I like wood working and program for a living. I would say it would be more of "what types of extensions or addons should I use", which in itself, is less than cut and dry, since a lot depends on what you want to build. However for table saws, you'll want a sled and zero clearance plates (for different blades and angles) for sure. Should you make a tenon jig, among other things, will depend on what you hope to build. |
