I'm not so sure about that. Firearms in those days were custom made by hand one by one by specialized and highly skilled (i.e. expensive) craftsmen. A firearm was a prized possession, and often a work of art. A pamphlet might be typeset in an hour by the unskilled printer's apprentice. |
