At age 12 I earned 37 cents/hour delivering newspapers. Difference is, I was earning a wage. I did have enough sense to calculate that pittance and bail as soon as one of my customers offered me $5 to mow his (considerable) lawn. Gave myself a raise to $2.00/hour! |
