I think this is a great point. A routing layer on top of a deeply feature rich set of underlying providers is probably not a good idea. I think that's why API Gateways are kind of "meh" I think routing layers need to be super thoughtful about this. How will I architect my system to ensure this isn't the case? Or doesn't matter? Or just doesn't happen? |
