My experiences with psychedelics and cannabis (many decades ago now) were similar in that LSD or psilocybin were terrific on their own, but the addition of cannabis made it extremely unpleasant. I still find cannabis unpleasant now. I found cannabis very enjoyable before trying that combination. My advice for any explorers would be to not smoke cannabis while tripping.
