Agreed, the dream of working from a beach with your toes in the sand sipping a pina colada is very much oversold. I work from an airport or airport cafe on occasion, but the ergonomics and noise don't make it a comfortable experience for long. And of course you are working on a small laptop screen. To be properly productive, I need a quiet space, a desk at the proper height, a comfortable chair, and ideally 2 good-sized monitors. |
