For me, it’s the realization that having achievements as an aim in life is overrated. To be content with what’s there (or not there) is an achievement by itself. It’s not easy, and I haven’t seen many “young people” achieve this. They’re usually pressured into achieving something so that they can have more self esteem as a reward. That’s so twisted. |
