Google Drive is a consumer product (+), not really the same use case or target market as S3. Consumers probably don't want to deal with variable charges on their card depending on how many people they shared a file with. Certainly I (as a consumer) wouldn't want to deal with a complicated price model like that. (+) And business productivity suite product, but I think the same mostly applies there. |
