I'm with you, but I think this post also highlights the need for protected land. I'd really hate to see any National Forest land go away because everyone who wants to live somewhere with a view now can. More people/better infrastructure in Gunnison, CO would be great. Maroon Bells getting a housing development and a golf course? Not so great. I'm worried that more people in small mountain towns near national forests has the potential to slowly eat away the national forest. |
