Worldview indoctrination is a fun game, I suppose. A mix of fiction and biography is probably about right: Fiction: Douglas Copeland's "Microserfs" Neal Stephenson, "Snow Crash" and perhaps especially "Cryptonomicon" (the early randy chapters and anything about Eiphphyte in particular) Real Genius (the film).
