Ask HN: Alternative Investments Worth Looking Into?

Looking to gain exposure to different investments beyond the normal stock & bond portfolio. Curious what this smart + savvy crowd is looking at in terms of alternative / diversified investments.

What I'm playing with:

- M1 Finance for finding stocks & index funds I couldn't get within Vanguard and my 401k

- Worthy Bonds for buying individual bonds. Pays 5%, but no FDIC insurance.

- Holding some individual stocks and crypto in Robinhood

- Had LendingClub for the past 5 years. Overall returns have been a disappointing 4.5%.
