No need for elitism. I'm sure there are scientists and researchers perfectly happy with Notepad++ and I've worked with web developers who've used emacs. I agree that VSCode is unlikely to reach the level of emacs in terms of being a fully programmable environment. But what it does offer is an easy and modern out-of-the-box experience. |
