Ask HN: Career Alternatives to Software Engineering?

After graduating with a CS degree ~few years ago, I've been working as a software engineer at one of the Big N tech companies. I've slowly realized that I've gotten less interested in coding, and more interested in developing better communication and people skills.

Recently I've been thinking of switching to a job that still utilizes my technical skills while interacting with people more.

What are some roles that a junior developer could look to switch into? So far I have:

- Product manager - Tech Consulting - Sales / Solutions Engineer
