The Outer Space Treaty bans nuclear weapons in space I can't count the number of times I saw the usual armchair experts confidently state online that Trump's proposed Space Force would "violate the Outer Space Treaty!". It's one thing to not be completely familiar with the details of a treaty signed 50 years ago, but how is anyone today ignorant of the military (the US's and other countries') large presence in space? |
