Visual and radar confirmations of what, though? A balloon is a physical object that you can see in visible and radio light. The data seem to show a slow-moving object at a higher altitude. I'd trust the actual data over nebulous claims of an object appearing to be moving fast. It's hard and unreliable to judge an object by eye, and easy to fall prey to optical illusions. |
