At this time when a lot of Telehealth is relying on a simple video chat, that has to be accessible to anyone with phone and internet, it's impossible to set it up in any other browser on iOS then Safari, which forces people to either download apps that video chats or use Safari. A big chunk of people is left out because of this. There has to be a shift.

If they can afford an iPhone, what's the problem with downloading a free "video chat app" that "leaves them out"?

the problem is the extra few steps. And it's not always available to small teams to invest in the whole app. That is another project that you have to support and maintain
