In context those A-level results are good enough for any of the top 20 if not top 10 universities in the UK, it's a good qualification if not quite top 5 levels ( oxbridge / top london uni's. )

I suspect the Ivy leagues have enough domestic applicants that a very respectable, but not outstanding candidate with less well understood grades would not make the cut here.
