Might be a good time to revisit the old rumour that Rails doesn’t scale.

I dont think anyone said that actually meant it doesn't scale. What they meant was it doesn't scale cheaply.

Rails is still great ( or possibly best ) for SaaS or Paid per usage model. Not so good for ad based or traffic driven per revenue model.
