I read the paper and I'm still a bit unsure about how the process works. How specific is it to COVID-19? Given that a Sanger sequences does sequence all kinds of mRNA, would you also find other RNA-based viruses like the flu? How much modification would be necessary to diagnose all kinds of RNA viruses? |
