Both, people comparing Go to Java apparently lack a complete understanding of the Java universe. If you are talking about doing REST APIs, talking to Postgres in Java 1.0 servlets style code, yeah Go is a replacement for Java. Except that is like 1% of everything that is currently being done in Java. |
