Show HN: Beyond the Basics Tutorials

I am creating some beyond the basics tutorials by recreating, enhancing existing libraries and frameworks using vanilla ES6/JavaScript.

The attached one is 1st draft version of coding your own react hooks like functionality in es6.

Do you think this kind of content is useful for beginner to mid level programmers.

What kind of content would most programmers/engineers be interested in?

I am primarily targetting #javascript/ #node.js as language of choice.

It sounds like an interesting project. I'm personally biased toward reading about things like this. In terms of videos, I am biased toward talks. Personally, I've looked at enough computer screens that I cannot watch videos of computer screens for very long particularly in real time. But that is just me and the potential audience includes a lot of people that are not like me.

And of course this is just the draft version. In general though, I don't think screen casts are a good fit for high level concepts. They are a good fit for instruction manuals like how a particular IDE works. Screen cast videos show better than they tell. This project seems more like telling than showing. Good luck.
