Hi all, Kash, Gifton and Milad here. We're building Wesat, a client management software for small businesses. Wesat is our attempt at making a simple CRM for small businesses: https://wesat.io We started our first startup, Wesaturate, almost 3 years ago. It was a free RAW and JPEG sharing website that become very popular. We were all new to the startup world and never thought about how we were going to monetize it, pay for the server bills, or even deal with the scale. Needless to say, we had to shut down because of all of those reasons (I wrote a blog post about that here: https://wesat.io/blog/weve-pivoted) Our users were almost exclusively photographers. We noticed that a lot of them were asking us for some advanced feature like keeping track of their clients, communicating with people who download their photos, and even running their whole business there. We all knew that CRMs existed for photographers, but the fact that so many asked us, a photo-sharing site, for those features, we felt like there was definitely a market. So, we set out to build Wesat, a CRM for small businesses that's not super dumbed-down like a lot of photography CRMs, but also not very complex like Salesforce. With Wesat, you can generate proposals, questionnaires, contracts, change orders, and invoices and send them to your client. You can share a portal with your client as well where all of these documents will be kept as well as any files that you share. All of the messaging is handled through email, so your client will never see "Wesat" branding. You can also handle payments online, manage your payments/expenses, create workflows, and more. The first three clients are free. Let us know what you think! -- Ps: What a time to launch a company geared toward small businesses, right? We've been working on Wesat long before COVID-19 started, but now everything has changed. If anyone has tips on how we can manage in these times, please let us know. |
