A big plus is to implement it in such a way that the machine will turn on automatically when you access your site-terminal, and auto shutdown if it remains idle for a period of time. You basically just described cloud console in GCP. It's pretty slick. I wouldn't use it as an all-day IDE, but it's more-or-less what you just described. |
