Currently the lead developer (Jim) is the only paid developer, and he's able to work on the program full time thanks to a few large sponsorships. That said, we'd really like to be able to pay more people, as the program has many development needs that could really use attention. This makes me so sad. Thousands of streamers make millions of Euro from their great software and so few of them contribute back.

Just thinking out loud.

I haven't used it yet, so maybe this already exists, but maybe think about adding something to the app itself to remind people to contribute financially, similar to how Wikipedia is doing it.

Maybe count how many times someone is using the app (local count) and when the count is high then show a little something, short message and call to action to donate.
