They claim it's a framework for building domain-specific IDEs that uses the same extension framework and language server protocols developed by the VS team. However VS Code already offers a desktop installer and runs in the cloud like VSOnline and CodeSandbox. And I'm not sure why a "neutral" extension marketplace matters because you can always download and install the extensions separately. |
