I believe you can get reinfected with a different strain of the same virus. Not the one you initially got infected with though.

The simple explainer is that almost all viruses give immunity so there is no reason to fear this one doesn’t.

The immunity might last a month or a year. Or two weeks or ten years. That we don’t know.
