Doctors tend to be reluctant to extrapolate strong conclusions from relatively close R0 values like those presented because of the number of confounding factors. It’s really most valuable when looking at orders of magnitude difference (e.g., measles with an R0 of around 15 compared to seasonal flu with an R0 of around 1-3). I didn’t see in that study much consideration of other variables and the p-value used for relative humidity was on the high side by publication standards (up to 10%) |
