Coronavirus is affecting hundreds of thousands of people, while the spider's only affecting the few poor souls who pass through 3rd and Main. I'd say they've got their priorities in order.
Maybe, but I'm worried, not just because of my fear of Spiders, but we haven't found out if it's a female yet. If we look at this http://www.americanarachnology.org/JoA_free/JoA_v31_n2/arac-... I worry we can expect multiple clutches of eggs. Sure one giant mutant spider now doesn't look that bad in comparison to Coronavirus, but several hundred, and then further generations to come signify a problem that we should maybe focus on right now!
Okay, but on the other hand, we also have the opportunity to raise those baby spiders from birth to be our noble steeds. I'd certainly rather ride a spider to work every day than drive in rush hour traffic.
