I'd like to hypothesize: the cerebellum "tunes" other circuits into alignment, which produces hebbian learning through synchronization. That sort of hebbian learning (novel synchrony between populations of presynaptic neurons) is both reinforcing and rewarding. If I start from there and am looking to confirm this hypothesis (or disabuse myself from it), might you suggest a reference? |
