The issue is the "generally considered harmful." High-fat low-carb diets tend to improve triglyceride profiles. Dietary cholesterol is not the same thing as blood cholesterol levels. Anecdotally, my father and I discovered separately, in bloodwork unrelated to our individual diets, that a HFLC diet significantly decreased LDL and increased HDL. |
