This is analogous to saying “big O notation doesn’t matter because the code is going to get run either way”. There’s a massive difference between each hospital dealing with 3 dozen severe respiratory cases at a time and 3 thousand. Part of the game is to run out the clock before cold season ends so hopefully the rate of infection drops. |
